Shipping, Delivery & Return Policy

Welcome to Avian Lifestyle. Please read our policies carefully before placing your order to ensure a seamless experience.

1. Scope of Online Commerce

  • Direct online checkout and shipping services are currently available exclusively for Cushions, Chairs, Trolleys, and Side Tables.

  • Larger luxury furniture items (such as sofas, dining tables, beds, and wardrobes) showcased on our website are for catalog browsing and design inspiration. For inquiries regarding the purchase and delivery of large pieces, please contact us directly.

2. Shipping Timelines & Dispatch

  • Standard Delivery: All online orders are processed, dispatched, and delivered within 4 to 7 business days from the date of order confirmation.

  • Transit Methods: Cushions are shipped via standard air courier. Heavier items (chairs, trolleys, side tables) are shipped via specialized surface freight to ensure safe handling.

  • Business Days: Processing and shipping timelines operate from Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and national public holidays.

3. Serviceable Areas (Pan-India)

  • We ship across India to all standard serviceable pin codes covered by our premier freight and courier partners.

  • If your pin code falls within a non-serviceable zone, our system will restrict the transaction at checkout, or our team will contact you within 24 hours to cancel the order and process a full refund. We do not ship internationally at this time.

4. Payment Terms (Strictly Prepaid)

  • All online orders must be 100% prepaid. We do not offer Cash on Delivery (COD) under any circumstances. * We accept all secure digital payment methods, including major credit cards, debit cards, UPI, and net banking.

5. Space Clearance & Access (Customer Responsibility)

  • It is entirely the customer's responsibility to measure all doorways, staircases, elevators, hallways, and room access points prior to placing an order. You must ensure that the physical dimensions of the purchased furniture will fit seamlessly through your property's access routes.

  • Our freight partners deliver only to accessible ground-floor lobbies or standard entryways. They are strictly not authorized or equipped to hoist furniture over balconies, remove doors/windows, or modify your property.

  • Failed Delivery Due to Size Constraints: If a delivery cannot be completed because the item does not fit, the shipment will be returned to our warehouse. This will be processed as a standard return: the customer will be held fully responsible for both outbound and return freight charges, and the standard refund deductions will apply.

6. Assembly, Fitting & Installation

  • Pan-India Orders (Outside Delhi/NCR): All unpacking, assembly, and fitting of furniture pieces are strictly the customer’s responsibility. Depending on the design, items may arrive pre-assembled or require basic self-assembly. Our freight partners drop off the package and do not provide installation services.

  • Delhi/NCR Deliveries: For customers located within Delhi/NCR, Avian Lifestyle offers professional fitting and assembly services. Our specialized team can assist with the unpacking, assembly, and proper placement of your purchased items.

  • Note on Returns: If an item requires self-assembly, it must be fully disassembled and carefully repacked in its original structural packaging before a return can be processed. Any damage caused during self-assembly or disassembly immediately voids return eligibility.

7. Damages & Transit Issues

  • You must inspect the outer packaging upon arrival. If the box is severely crushed or torn, take a clear photograph before opening it.

  • If the product inside is damaged, scratched, or defective, you must report this to us within 1 day (24 hours) of receiving the delivery. Claims made outside this 24-hour window will not be entertained.


Return & Refund Policy

8. Eligibility for Returns

To be eligible for a return, the following strict criteria must be met:

  • Time Window: You must inform us and initiate the return request within 1 day (24 hours) of receiving your delivery.

  • Condition of Soft Furnishings: Cushions must be completely unused, unwashed, unaltered, and free of odors, stains, or pet hair.

  • Condition of Furniture: Chairs, trolleys, and side tables must be entirely unused, unassembled (if applicable), free of any scratches, dents, or marks, and in pristine, resalable condition.

  • Packaging & Tags: The item must be securely repacked in its original packaging (including all protective foam, bubble wrap, and structural supports) with all Avian Lifestyle tags attached.

9. How to Initiate a Return

  • Step 1: Email info@avianlifestyle.com or WhatsApp +91 9667315976 within 1 day (24 hours) of your delivery timestamp.

  • Step 2: Include your Order Number, the reason for the return, and clear photographs of the product from multiple angles showing its condition and packaging.

  • Step 3: Once reviewed and authorized by our team, we will provide the shipping address for the return.

10. Return Shipping Costs

  • Customer Responsibility: Unless the item arrived structurally defective or we shipped the incorrect product, the customer is strictly responsible for arranging the return shipment and covering all associated freight or courier costs.

  • Transit Liability: We highly recommend using a trackable, insured shipping service. Avian Lifestyle is not liable for return packages lost or damaged in transit. If a returned item arrives at our warehouse damaged due to poor customer repackaging, the refund will be voided.

11. Refund Processing & Deductions

  • Quality Inspection: Once your return arrives, our quality control team will inspect the item. If it fails the quality check, the refund will be denied, and the item can be shipped back to you at your expense.

  • Fee Deductions: All approved refunds will be subject to a mandatory deduction of 2% + GST of the total transaction value. This covers the non-refundable payment gateway (mediator) processing fees incurred during the original transaction.

  • Timelines: The final calculated refund amount will be credited back to your original method of payment within 5 to 7 business days after inspection approval. Orders cannot be canceled once dispatched; they must go through the standard return process.
