Use masking tape to mark the proposed tabletop on the floor. Then place existing chairs around the outline and walk through the room as though guests were seated.
Will the dining table enter through your lift or staircase?
Large dining tables are often delivered with the tabletop and base packed separately, but this should be confirmed before purchase. Measure the packed tabletop dimensions rather than relying only on assembled product dimensions.
Pay particular attention to lift-door width, staircase turns, ceiling height above landings and narrow passages near the apartment entrance. For marble and stone tables, safe handling space is as important as the doorway width itself.
